The Benefits of Eating Sprouts
There are many reasons why we should eat sprouts.
One of the most important reasons is that sprouts contain fresh chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the energy captured from the Sun. All life in this planet comes from the Sun, and without it we would die.
Sprouts are amazing because they are 10 to 20 times more nutritious than their mother vegetables. Sprouts are considered pre-digested food because all their nutrients have been broken down into simple forms. Protein breaks down into simple amino acids, fat into simple essential fatty acids and carbohydrates into simple sugars. These broken down nutrients are then easily absorbed into the blood stream to provide our cells with their needed nutrients. Furthermore, these beautiful and tasty miniature vegetables are high in absorbable protein.
Enzymes
Enzymes are essential to our bodies because they control the metabolic processes whereby nutrients are converted into energy and fresh cell material. Also, enzymes help breakdown food into smaller compounds. Enzymes elevate cellular frequencies creating a better immunity. The healing power of enzymes is proven.
The enzyme account in our bodies is replenished by the living foods, and especially, by the sprouts that we eat , as the enzymes from the sprouts get reabsorbed into the blood stream.
Alkalinity
Sprouts create alkalinity in the body and disease cannot live in an alkaline body.
Some of the healthiest types of sprouts include:
- Red Winter wheatgrass
- Sunflower greens
- Pea shoots
- Mung beans
- Mixed sprouts
It’s important that sprouts are grown on organic soil and watered with filtered water.
Why Eat Raw?
Cooking kills the life in food. The immune system responds to sproutlifeless food by realeasing white blood cells because it does not recognize the structure of the food and considers it as an infection in the body. Furthermore, our body has to invest a lot of energy to break down the nutrients from cooked food while it takes hardly any energy to digest living food. This is greatly because cooked food contains no more enzymes. The great thing about sprouts is that they are literally growing as you chew them, they are full of enzymes and their nutritional properties are intact. No other food could be fresher or more alive than sprouts.
